Prior to working as a full-time journalist, I worked in marketing, public relations and social media. As a publicist, I worked with lifestyle clients like lucy Activewear and ICU Eyewear. As a record label marketing assistant, I managed social media accounts belonging to hip-hop artists and created a website for the company.
